 09/15/2009 || Utilizing Visual Management Boards
LOGOS has introduced new functionality for real-time process monitoring and controlling. The visual management boards are designed to show current work load, status and process flow (hand-off's) for each departments including indicators for priority processing and constraints.
Departmental examples include: Receiving, Production (including staging) and Shipping.
Some of the benifits include ability to schedule and record machine and labor time, load-level processes and quickly respond to delays & priority processing.
 04/01/2009 || Go-Live for LOGOS-WMS imotic in the Henkel production plant for detergents in Ferentino (Italy)
Henkel is a world wide leader in the brand name market for detergents and cleaning agents. Their product portfolio for laundry includes: Universal and Special Application Detergents, Fabric Softeners, Cleaning Enhancers. In addition they also have product lines for household and bathroom cleaning agents (glass, tub, toilet, etc.).
The application went live at Henkel’s production facility in Ferentio, Italy which runs 24/7. This site has the output capacity of producing up to 1 pallet of packaged detergent every thirty seconds.
Henkel selected the LOGOS Warehouse Management software imotic as an interface with their SAP system to optimize material handling process from Goods Receipt for incoming Purchase Orders, production staging/replenishment, production Goods Receipts, to their high volume picking, packaging and shipping processes (with Handling Unit Management). Additionally they also implemented a streamlined and mobile inventory cycle count process to ensure real-time accuracy.
